Task 4: Convention








New sector: 




Banner Advert: 
Their main purpose behind this advert is to grab and draw audiences to come and buy the product at hand. Its aim is to promote the clothing line to it's specific audiences. you would find this advert pop up as a banner ad on web pages you are also able to interact with the product so its therefore is 
digital and new media because you are able to have an actual relationship with the product. 

celebrity endorsements:
In advertising they use a technique called celebrity endorsement which helps sell the product as famous people attract more audiences (their own fans) in this advert they used Ben affleck to engage more audiences with the products.



Old sector:

old sector advertising is mass media they try to reach a large audiences. they consists of tv, press, radio and out door advertising these advertising try to be everything to everybody (its not interactive meaning you can not have a relationship with the product at hand) 

it's static and it remains for long periods of time 
they are more expensive 
they get boring after a while and they become part of the scenery 





The Story:  The billboard is a giant Dairy Milk Chocolate and children can be seen climbing and nibbling away at it - a bit like the fairy tale of the Hansel and Gretel candy house.  The children are rippling bits of the giant chocolate and digging into this massive chocolate wonder. this billboard definitely appeals to youth audiences.

The Copy:  the only copy is the name of the chocolate and the brand.  this is because the creative direction is to create a giant life like Cadbury Dairy Milk that will make everyone crave to have a bite as they drive and walk along.

Branding: Fun, rich, giant chocolate heaven, reassuringly Cadbury's a trusted household name. The familiar purple colour and the sharing breakable squares of the dairy milk chocolate.  Dairy Milk is fun, a snack to share as the three treasure chocolate nibblers go for the gold (Cadbury's Dairy Milk).
